Kalasatama is a former industrial harbour area in uptown Helsinki. During the coming decades, the area will be transformed into residential use. In collaboration with design office Part, we work as coordinators for environmental art and temporary uses during this long-term urban planning project. The temporary uses will be developed together with local people, in order to vitalise the place and help creating its new identity while large areas are still being built.
